Functional description

The terminal essentially has one single task: to enable the user to interact with the system. Users of the cycle-sharing system, on the other hand, have only one aim – namely to travel from A to B.A terminal must function with as little maintenance as possible.

Its services should use as little power as required, offer the choice of various languages and be harmoniously integrated into the cityscape. Customising the colour and design are naturally an option with SYCUBE.To make this a reality, our docking station system provides three key services, three support services and two maintenance services.

Maintenance services

Service technicians will have their own technician profile available to

  1. rectify faults reported and

Terminal „INTEGRAL“

The "INTEGRAL" terminal comprises the terminal itself and a "SAFE" type docking station. The benefits speak for themselves: Firstly, the Integral terminal does not require any additional space for an external terminal, as there is one built into the docking station. Secondly, this variant considerably cheaper than a separate terminal.

Terminal „LIGHT“

Space-saving terminal with monochrome display. The LIGHT terminal can reliably accommodate up to 12 e-Bikes or Pedelecs.

Terminal „ECO“

The ECO terminal is different from the other terminals, mainly in its energy usage and display features. It's not just the additional solar panel that stands out, but its extremely energy-saving interior, enabling this terminal to operate self-sufficiently in terms of energy usage.

This integrated approach makes it possible to power the entire system using the solar panel. The powerful touchscreens use minimal power, and the system is accessed and payment is processed using a customer card or RFID chip.

Power supply and storage

  • Solar module for energy self-sufficiency
  • Power storage using a battery built into the terminal
  • Intelligent charging system with two battery systems; back-up system and storage battery
  • Minimal power usage in stand-by mode (150mA at 5 V=0.75 W)
  • Enough energy to last more than three weeks with 100 releases and returns every day
  • Solar module can orientate itself towards the sun using a tracking system as an option
  • Integrated intelligent stepper motor

Terminal „ALL-IN-ONE“

The ALL-IN-ONE terminal (mini computer, 15" colour touchscreen) allows spontaneous use (using a credit card, for example).
